agreed with you ! :celebrate:I guess at the end of the day, there are no quick fix solutions.
It still boils down to healthy diet and regular exercise to keep the weight gain at bay.
Total intake more than Total burnt => gain weight
Total intake less than Total burnt => lose weight -

I realised tat esp. for women, we put on weight whenever we hit our decades like 30, 40 & 50, etc. I have been exercising regularly since my 30's and has been on a low-fat diet all along. However, when I come to my decades, I still put on weight and has difficulty losing them. Any suggestions to help me lose weight ? Pls do not recommend any weight loss pills as I'm scared of the side effects. :?:
not only for women, for guys it is the same. As we age, our metabolic rate decreases, thus we should eat less and burnt more to maintain a healthy weight. -
I have a non-existent metabolic rate. I am not obssessed with weight loss. Well honestly speaking, my BMI is in the healthy range. What I am trying to do is to kick start and up my metabolic rate. And to do that, I have to build muscle mass.
I have done a detox and am now trying to turn my eating habits around. Unlike most people who have to cut down their meals, I have to eat more but not more of anything, mainly more proteins. Big breakfast, decent lunch and small dinner and limiting carbo to 1 meal only (breakfast or lunch).
At the same time, I am also going for ba guan and lymphatic draining massage to help rid water retention and improve circulation.
I have loss about 2kg of fats and gained about 1kg of muscle mass since I started. Loss a few inches too and the cellulites are lesser. Been a bit slack in the exercise department but gotta kick myself into stepping up or all the changes will not be that effective. -

Me and hubby took Herbalife a couple of years back. I find it quite good cause I loss about 6 - 8kg and hubby loss about 5kg. After I got the weight that I wanted and I stop taking it & my weight still maintain there as long as you control your intake. -
