I know of another Science enrichment centre. They focus on using hands-on experiments to make children understand the concept and tackle on answering higher order thinking questions.

My DD1 was able to get A* for PSLE Sci last year. I believe in getting my kids to be interested in the subject first (my DD1 complained Sci was boring in P3 cos there are lots of memorising of sci keywords, terms, concept, without seeing the link to the real world). I’m a working mum, so I don’t have the time to do experiments with them. So I sent my two kids to Science enrichment centre to learn more than the notes given in school.
Her teacher is able to make them interested in Science and then enhance their exam answering skills which is important for exam. The teacher who taught my DD1 is very experienced in teaching P5 and P6.
A few weeks ago, my DD1 had Physics in school where they learnt to read the zero error on vernier caliper. She was very happy that she had learnt before in P6 tuition class, hence she was able to teach her classmates. It boosted her ego and interest to learn more.
I feel education is a long process, hence we as parents should encourage our children and build their interest in learning for themselves. We cannot guide them forever.

                Science Alive at Eastgate.

If your kid is P6, ask for teacher Fara, as she is experienced in P6, though a little naggy (keep reminding my DD to take note of this and that).

Is the teacher from another tuition centre last year? My gal was taught by a teacher with this name last year. Does the centre have Sec Sch Science?

A few of the teachers setup this centre. Your DD was in her class last year? Maybe same class (Sat morn) as my DD1. This centre specialises in Pri Sci only. I’m looking for a good Sci tuition centre for Sec too. Do all Sec 1 start with Physics?
