Google Glass Anyone?
-
Me! I want!
But then my life will be tied to the battery life of that thing. We may become so dependent on it that we cannot function without that thing. Lol. -
So cool!
Got cheaper version kids size with parental selected web access?
I just want an inbuilt encyclopedia or dictionary.for my lazy boy #1 and too-much-questions boy #2.

NO NO NO! As it is, I've got a few near accidents with pedestrians whose eyes are glued to their smart phones and ears plugged with head phones. Cannot even see my car when I'm right in front of them. :stompfeet: This goggle glass will be a drivers' nightmare.
Also, we should ask our kids to be optician/optometrist/ophthalmologist cos they will be the professionals most highly in demand  -
I have a feeling it would make us more cross-eyed hahaha!

Not for me either. I want a TV to be a TV, a phone to be a phone & a pair of glasses to be just that!
Too much multi-tasking in life liao! I ever watch a Nat Geo documentary called ‘Test your brain’. The documentary highlighted that many pp think that they are good multi-taskers, but in fact, they’re not. In the program, they picked a man (who is a self-professed good multi-tasker) & tested him on the phone while driving. He failed the test.
Smartphones have rapidly changed our life & social behaviour for better or worse. No need for another gadget so soon… -
I fear it too but at the same time cant help being excited.
But like it or not its here . The Glass may or may not take over but something like it will. Siri is a sort of flop. But that is where the future is headed. We can resist but for how long? I hate this dependency too. -

That is a really good suggestion. Nice neat profession. Good business.NO NO NO! Considering the progress made in tech, this is one of the areas we have not made revolution. Yes there is contacts , lasik, and progressive lens but that is pretty much it. We are still stuck in the glasses world. I mean the normal one.

I think it is cool. Does it has an option to me made self-destruct in 10 seconds?

Everyone thinks it is weird to wear a headset around in public, but 5 years ago, who thought that holding onto a wallet sized phone and swiping around would become the norm?
