You have to check MOELC website at least 2 days before the 3rd lang class. They download all worksheets via softcopy. Prepare to print out 15 pages.

the class conducted in Newton right? the teacher is muscular man, old lady or young lady?

My DS taking French at Bishan, not Newton

All RI boys have 3rd Lang lessons at Bishan MOELC..

Pupils need to download and print notes in advance for French, I think.. Am i right, Paddy? DS doesn't need to do so for Japanese Lang.. Not sure about German though..[/quote]Hi Firefly,

Yes u r right .. He had to print the weekly lessons plus hw sheet n any other notes for French. Jap no need at all? So good. N now teacher has to sent via email cos e portal is always down, n they said they r shutting it down. Dunno how true though.

Ya, no need to print for Japanese.. DS uses Textbooks and Workbooks only.. The notes has been bound into booklets and given to the boys on the first lesson..

How is your DS coping this year? Year-2 seems more hectic and busy, but DS still spends a lot of time on FB, You-tube, games etc.. So he sleeps around 11+ (sometimes 12+, even 1+) every night.. :scared:

DS will have an 01 Sourts orientation camp at Big Sister’s Island this Friday. Anyone know this Big Sister’s Island? We are worrying about the safety issues.

            Hi Firefly,

My DS is the lazy type who does minimal .. so at times u can find him lazing around using his iphone or ipad playing games. We try to enforce habit of early nights .. latest by 11.

I think the boys will be fine. Hope they enjoy themselves.

I'm learning to let go.... And not worry so much, a least not in front of DS. 😄

Sunj1252.. Is you DS back from the Scouts Camp? Did he enjoy himself? Btw, where is Big Sister Island? Is it St. John's Island, or Kusu Island?

KSmon8.. Yes, you must learn to let go.. I am learning to do so too, slowly but surely, though still quite reluctantly.. Haha!

                    Hi,

Any idea whether the June holiday school activities agenda has come out? We want to plan overseas trips now… or any year 3 parents can advise about last year’s June holiday agenda? TIA

Just share with you. DS came back on Saturday afternoon, so tired because they were arranged for on watching for those monkeys 😆 , his shift is 2am to 5 am. So sleep insufficient. Normally he would sleep more and wake up very late on Saturday for making up the lost sleep time in weekdays.

When he came back home, after shower he slept until Sunday morning. 😓

The camp is fun definitely. :rahrah:
