dd1 uses Teachers' Production STELLAR handwriting bk. I use that as a guide to determine. The bk is not sold in popular. You can go to the teachers' production website to find the retail shop, if you are interested.

In Primary 1, half a mark will be deducted when a character or number is not well written. They will also deduct half a mark when they mis-use capital letter in the word or sentences.

If you have a choice, will you choose to put your child in a famous primary school, require 1 hour transport travelling time to get to school or neighbourhood school that is 5 mins walk away?

I calculated that If I need my child to wake up 5am, she has to sleep at 7pm. If she goes to neighbourhood school, she has to sleep at 8.30am and wake up 6.30am get ready.
