I have one YAMAHA U1 piano silent for sales. It is a first hand about five year old. Made in Japan.
Every year two times tuning from Yamaha prefessional technician. Just adjust the tunes on Feb 2013. Still have one more free tunes around six month later. Well maintenance.
Wish to sell @ $6,500/-.
If you interested, please email me at [email protected]
Thank you. -
Hi there,
I have been sourcing around for a piano for my daughter (Pri 1) since Nov 12. 1st hand too ex for me, and not worth it if she drop halfway. So decided on 2nd hand piano. Manage to get U1 24yrs at 2.5K last weekend, working fine except a bit of comestic issue. Now daughter and son start playing it… you can try sourcing from cargslist.com.sg , st classified etc … from my experience, getting from enduser is definitely cheaper than 2nd hand shop. -

My hubby and my friend test the piano before we commit. Everything seems fine except some dirt / dust on the pins etc. And of course the pins are oxidised … but even if you buy from 2nd hand shop, they refurb it?? after 3year it still oxidise …that what some shops told me
I went to a few 2nd hand shop b4 that, they quoted me 4k plus for a 25yrs++ made in japan model. So as long as the condition of the piano is fine, I mean the sound and no major problem, i think it a good buy and it is also made in Japan. -
Unless you know what to look for and don’t mind IF, touchwood, end up with something that may not be such a good buy after all then it’s ok. Many buy from secondhand dealers for a peace of mind

I'm ok with buying a piano that is a few years' old from someone, but for 20-30+yo pianos, I think best to have it refurbished. -

At 2.5K, as long as it sounds good and you are happy with it, then just enjoy it. Doesn't matter if it breaks down in a couple of years. Just make sure it's properly tuned.Hi there,

I think U1 is 9K, not sure if i am right.
They are haveing warehouse sales saw one made in Japan SUZUKI original price 5k plus selling for 3k plus - fit my budget i yet to check is it a brand new. Anyone have any comments/feedback on SUZUKI?
Also my friend has a piano NIEMEYER N10MP purchased in year 2008. She got it for $3K plus only, she hardly use it cos no time to learn. She's offering to sell me at 2K includes delivery. If i purchase it i need to get it check and tune, is it worth it?
