Hi, other than the usual stuff like pencils, eraser, sharpener and ruler – and what’s in the school’s book/stationery list – is there any other stationery my daughter needs to bring?

Hi,
My gal has peanut allergy. Have already indicated that in the student data form.
However, was wondering how I should indicate to the stall holders in the canteen so that they will not sell food items with peanut to my kid.
Any parents with such experience who can advise me?
Much appreciated! -

Hi there…
Just came across this post.
My girl will be in P1 Charity too!! I am sure we have prob met in the classroom during orientation. My girl’s name is Erika.
Good to stay connected, so we can always check things with each other.
I have no idea who is the Form Teacher too. I know there was an older lady teacher and a young pregnant teacher in the classroom. Any idea which one is the Form Teacher, and what is her name? -
My daughter is in P1 Charity too. Her name is Anushka.

Hi, my dd will be in P1 Grace and her name is Charis. Hope to hear from other parents from P1 Grace too
I've signed her up for the YMCA student care. Mrs Lee of the YMCA student care mentioned that the external tuition providers that they use is NASCANS-comprising of former students(ie graduates) from NUS - the rates are $12.50/hr and minimum 4 to start. Has anyone tried the external tuition offered? How is the quality compared to the YMCA teachers? Any value-added in terms of either smaller group size, better teacher-student attention, strength in particular subjects eg science etc? Or will the coaching from the YMCA teachers be adequate? I was told that the external tuition will not include Chinese though...
I've also arranged for the school bus for my girl...has anybody already heard from either RS Transport or directly from the assigned bus driver? I've been checking up on this for the since last week but so far neither RS Transport nor the bus driver is able to confirm the pick up or drop off timings... -
Hi ya Snowflake
You should have heard from the bus driver early this week.
I called RS Transport before Christmas and they told me that the driver should be calling the parents directly by 26 December. Well as I did not hear from the driver then, I called RS and pestered them till they gave me the driver's contact.
Got the driver to confirm the pick-up and drop off timings there and then.
Sometimes, we just need to be a \"pest\" to get things done
Hope that helps.
