DSA is offered to selected CCAs (sports, performing arts), academic excellence, leadership. I'm not aware of DSA being offered to uniformed groups.

If you are looking at \"top schools\", there probably isn't any.
However, in moe website, there is a list of schools, some of them their niche area is in the uniform groups.

You can only use Scouts during appealing period. Lets say the minimum aggregate to enter xx school is 260, and yr kid scored 258-259, can use scout to boost the appeal process. Show the EAGLES award certificate.

What about DSA under Chinese Dance? Nanyang Girls? RGS doesn’t seem to offer this?

If I am not wrong based on my friends’ kids, they use their coaches to pull them in. In other words pull string still applies.

These coaches due to intense pressure by the school (you introduce one hor, make sure produce results for the school), will pressurise the kids as well. If can’t come for training, the face of that coach change, you know.

Yes you are right. The Sports DSA teacher in charge of the respective sport is the most crucial decision maker. You need to ensure your targeted school dsa sports teacher knows your kids accomplishments and credentials before the process even begins.

Yes, what worriedpapa said is right. You need to ensure your targetted school dsa sports coach/teacher knows your kids accomplishments and credentials. But I think, it doesn’t mean pull string. If you can pull string then good. If can’t, I think still got chance.
