My maid also same too. Any mummies know if that is a regulation for maid to complain to MOM about employer cannot send them if they do not want to go back ?

I tell my maid agent (also from phil) about I will buy a ticket and send my maid back to phil. My agent said i cannot do that, she tell me about the MOM rule, the maid can make appeal to MOM about employer. I wonder got such cases?

I think that the contract you signed with the (Singapore) agent will state that you have to return her to the agent (so that she could find another employer in Singapore) if you are not happy with her.

      .

My contract only stated that to pay $$ for replacement. The agent is blood sucker. They keep on telling me I cannot send her back if she want to transfer out. The purpose behind is they want to earn $$$ from her if she can transfer out. I just found out that the agent told her about I want to send her back  eventhough I request them not to tell her 1st, the agent pretend and say dunno when I ask them how she know that. Haiz, can we feedback to MOM about the agent?

As far as I know, you have to return the maid to the agent if you want a free replacement from them.

But otherwise, you can just pack them off home.
I know of people who have sent theirs off.
Don't know if there has been any recent changes tho.
I guess no such rules, just the agent want to earn $$$$ from the maid and the new employer who taking over. I pity us pay so much of $$$ for the maid to come and end up we headache. What I find out from the new employer who want to take her, need to pay $1k++ to the agent and also minus 1 month salary from the maid.

Agent fees had gone up a fair bit. A friend was quoted $1,700 agent fees for Burmese maid 2 weeks back. Another agent told me that he will still keep the fee at $1,200 for me cos I selected the maid a few months back.

I'm sending my maid of about 7mths back. She is actually a transferred maid... She worked with another employer in SG for 2mths prior to working for me. Her duties are housework (no marketing or cooking or washing car) & assisting my mum to look after the kids.

              Reasons:
              1. Cannot trust her. Sneakily does things thinking tt we don't know.
              2. Rude. When inform her on what she has done wrongly, she shows black face & don't want to reply. Apparently she recently admitted tt she also mutter curses & bad things towards us when she not happy.
              3. Increasing refuses to follow instruction & don't do the housework properly (\"cut corners\")
              4. Increasingly asking for more food to eat. Initially for lunches she is fine with a packet of instant noodles, now she is having 2 packets.

3 months back I told her about these issues we are facing with her and told her to reflect & improve, but it has only gotten worse. Although she did previously expressed tt she would prefer to go back to agency, but we decided to send her back to her country because we don't want another family to unfortunately meet with these issues too.

              We are going maid-less! šŸ™‚

After reading so many … I think we can make it maid less in near future . My friend also intend to send maid bk soon and be a maid free soon .

With so much request from maid and $ to agent plus off day every week . And gives us headaches . I think it is really not worth .

                  Hi mummies,

I am looking for reliable service to help pick up my maid and send her to airport making sure she passes through the immigration. The maid agency she comes from does not provide this service. How much does it normally cost.

could it bcoz ur spouse worries he nid to help after sending off the maid? Husband normally will side the maid coz they r not the one who manage them.

This does makes sense. Anyway it is very difficult to find a good maid these days so I have to tolerate her behaviour.
