The use of correction tape in PSLE

preferably yes...even my son has reduced usage of correction tape...since teacher has told them they are not allowed to use during O levels.
save money boy...i used to have to buy boxes of refills when there was popular 20% discount periods. -
I didn’t know correction tape isn’t allowed at higher level major exams…so why is it not banned at PSLE? When kids are so used to it, taking that away will cause kids to go into panic zone during PSLE.
Why start it in the first place? -
imagine my ds teachers are resorting to confiscating correction tape now during lessons and only returning them at the end of the day.

Don't think correction tape is banned per se. Just that SEAB's advice is against its use, but there will be NO penalty if a candidate chooses to use.
Same as PSLE - use at your own risk.

Not worth the risk…especially for national exams.
As parents, we go all out to prepare our kids for PSLE…why let correction tape ruin anything that could lead to drastic results? -

for exams like this is better to bes more cautious i rather not want to take the risk 1mark lost might mean alot in the long run. -

for school exams, impact is bearable...but for national exams, can you imagine what should be covered is revealed instead :faint:

preparing the child for 9 months for such stupid things to happen is not worth. -

Doubt I’ll be able to persuade my teenaged son to change his habit in time for his ‘O’ levels, though I will still try… Anyway, his PSLE results was in no way affected, so for us, the risk is bearable. -

As long as he uses it wisely & not over used. No all kids are able or willing to change their habits, same go to the adults.To each his own.
