      simi si ABC soup?

Carrot, potato and chicken all dump in to make a soup. Oh yes, tomato for extra vitamin and antioxidant.

Dessert will be sliced pineapple and green bean soup.

You diet was almost perfect...until the above.... 😆

It's the fresh ones not the canned version. It's low in calories and loads of vitamin C.

Green bean soup is home cooked. Cook the green beans till soft. Add rock sugar and orange peel. Blend it with ice. SLURP!

Bee hoon is tasteless...if want to fry, have to make ikan bilis soup first for flavour. I put one chicken cube.

If I fry bee Hoon, I use Tom yam paste then Tom yam paste bee Hoon. But so far, still not perfect.

I goreng laksa noodles, sometime the mouse tail noodles with this recipe.

                1. saute chopped garlic & shallot
                2. add basic pork soup, let the mixture bubbles
                3. add the laksa noodles, cover to simmer, then give a stir, cover again
                4. add slices squid/shelled prawns in butterfly style, cover again, then give a stir, cover again
                5. add cooked pork slices, green vegs, egg omelette, mix up.
                6. add light soya sauce

Think the above can be used to fry mee hoon though I hv never done it as my children do not really like to eat mee hoon.

                    TheAnswer,

For mee hoon,hv to pre-soak first.

Try this: take a bowl, stir in some chicken stock, tau cheo, belacan(or tom yam paste),soya sauce(light n dark),oyster sauce, some assam juice.

When ur mee hoon abt to ready, pour in the mixture n fry to mix.If too dry,add in some more mixture or chicken stock alone. Finish frying, cover it n let it simmer while,so the mee hoon absord all the mixture.

Lastly, add in the eggs, prawn, fish cake or vege(I normally fry the this ingredient separately).

If i lazy,I also fry udon…simple n no nid to pre-soak.I normally fry udon wf black pepper sauce or teriyaki sauce, cabbage, fish cake or salmon.

Kids love bee hoon especially in soup. Younger one is fussy eater. She dislikes porridge. Sometimes the weather is so hot in the afternoon and I would love a bowl of porridge…but when I make chicken porridge, she refuses to eat.
