Yes I’ll be attending too. My friend just attended one from another school and she said that it was very helpful.

I noted that my DS’s Diversity textbook (My Pals are Here) did not mention the word "Chlorophyll" in the Plants topic?!..I thot this is one of the most basic word they shd know?

The textbook is thin like anything, def insufficient for them to be able to tackle questions fr assessment books, that was why each time when I am revising with him, I have to whip up all the Science guide books i have.

Yes, P3 should know the spelling for chlorophyll as well. It was tested last year in my DD's school. But sometimes, I find that there is too much info in the guide books. I find Renee Chong books and Janet Sim's 3-in-1 are quite good for the notes. These 2 books cover a fair bit of notes needed for P3.

My daughter’s teacher recommended that they buy PSLE Ultimate Science guide. It wasn’t originally on the book list but she said it is one of the best books available. They can use it from P3-P6. It is thematic and has example questions with hints on how to tackle them. My daughter actually enjoys reading it.

Oh, that's great. I have lower block ultimate science. I like the info too but my DD dont flip the guide as the fonts are very small. I am not sure about PSLE version. Is the font size bigger? I also have PSLE Revision Guide (MPAH) and PSLE guide from Fairfield. We rarely touch them now. Of course, I refer to those if we come across any discrepencies in the answers provided.

                  anyone knows??

is it necessary to answer the question in full sentence? For e.g. which plant will survive?
                  Answer 1 : Plant A will survive
                  Answer 2: Plant A

                      Hi vinegar,

I think B should be the answer.

Recently just attended the workshop organised by the school and the teacher said that answer must be detail and specific.
