Has anyone tried to lasik when you are already experiencing start of 老花眼?I I am now at this stage whereby my myopia is around 200 (and depend largely on contact lens), think not worth to go for lasik at my age and yet 老花眼 is making it difficult for me to read document and food label at times. Thought of getting progressive lens but I hate wearing glassess as I feel uncomfortable after a few hours' wear. Now :scratchhead: which one to go.

My hubby went for lasik in his late 20s. But now also need glasses. So I guess no point doing lasik if one is near 40 or past 40 because will still end up with specs.

I did dream of Lasik too. But ex la.. 😞

Actually spec also not that cheap. Transition lens are so expensive for those with high myopia.

So many optical shops sprouting up everywhere, must be easy money for those shops

it is a must to go for eye chk up to assess if ur eyes condition suitable for lasik.

i remember the process quite tedious.nid to go few times-pre n post lasik.Probably now is more simplify.
I only went for 1 pre check n 1 or 2 post check

              Hi Ladies

Is anyone using a front load washing machine and is happy / unhappy with it? Please share.

Am in desperate need to replace my 8 kg Brandt front load washing machine, which is not worth repairing. It's only 3 and a half years old! Current repairs cost $3xx and then touch panel also going to 'kaput' so that will cost at least $2xx.

My previous washer was an Electrolux and it served me well for 11 years. Current models are made in Thailand so not sure if still reliable.

HELP. Have to find a reliable front load washer quickly. In my household, we can't live without a washing machine... :?:

I just bought a new LG front load 8kg from courts. The Motor has a warranty for 10 yrs and I bought another 3 yrs warranty from courts, therefore normal spare parts repair will be under the warranty of 5 yrs. main reason that I bought it is not many washer gives 10 years warranty on motor.

The salesman recommend this as it is using inverter direct drive system. http://www.lg.com/sg/washing-machines

Compare to my Brandt which using 2 hours to finish the washing cycle, LGuses only 1 hr and use even lesser water than my Brandt front load.
This is just my experience using LG and Brandt.

Btw, my MIL using Bosch front load and it only lasted 2 yrs. MIL has a habit of washing everyday with 1/4 load.

I have a question. Will you fully support your husband if he wants to quit his job and study full time?
