OH I wasnt there during the first 3 days... I just there during recess just on the first day, hee... Dont have so much leave.. Anyway they settle down pretty fast, not to worry..
Dear Luanee,
Many thanks for your sharing.
I stay quite far from RGPS and my girl will need to spend at least 1 hour on the school bus (pickup time at 11.30am). A bit worried on whether she will take to the long travelling journey well.
Like what you did, I will also be there during the 1st 3 days I guess. Have already taken leave.
Remembered you mentioned before that your girl is in P1H this year. Mine has also been assigned to 1H. Any idea if the form teachers remains the same or they follow the P1 class to P2 next year ?
Thanks.
Rgds,
Ming
I am not too sure about the form teachers arrangement... -
So far for my ds, the same form teacher from P1 will follow the class to P2.

Ming, do remember to pack something like biscuits or a drink for DD SPECIFICALLY for the ride home or she'd be hungry  . Agree with Luannee, no issues for first 3 days - felt like a caged animal watching over her recess time :!: .I stay quite far from RGPS and my girl will need to spend at least 1 hour on the school bus (pickup time at 11.30am). RGPS is very organized. The PV's are already galvanized and they work like clockwork. -
Thanks Ming
you made me feel better that the school bus pick up and drop of time for my girl is a \"norm\" considering the traffic condition. I have already arranged for her to take the school bus now
Thanks mommies for sharing your experience on what to bring for the 1st day. Happy New Year and let's all wish that our dds enjoy a rewarding year in RGPS! -

adjustment to school wise I think my dd should be ok, it's just the long bus journey that I am more worried about.....

Hi RGPS mommies,
My S1 is done with PSLE and joing TKSS :). phew!
My D2,RGPS is going P6 . *stress again*
My D3,RGPS is going P1
*Kinddie mode still*
Anyway, Does anyone know the average/mean/median of 2009 PSLE aggregate from the mainstream level (exclude the GEP level). Just wondering coz i heard many frm mainstream levels scored like below 230. It's scary huh..
I think it's good to have some stats of our past yr PSLE to be posted on the RGPS website or even here on KiasuParents.com.
Cheers

Hi mums,
Iโd like to come by during recess to observe my dd on her first day of school but Iโm not sure when that takes place as thereโs no information in the parentโs handbook. Could someone pls advise? Also, can we actually sit with them during recess or are we only allowed to observe from afar?
Thanks!
