Thanks Ming
you made me feel better that the school bus pick up and drop of time for my girl is a \"norm\" considering the traffic condition. I have already arranged for her to take the school bus now
Thanks mommies for sharing your experience on what to bring for the 1st day. Happy New Year and let's all wish that our dds enjoy a rewarding year in RGPS! -
Andaiz:
Dear Andaiz,Ming, do remember to pack something like biscuits or a drink for DD SPECIFICALLY for the ride home or she'd be hungry  . Agree with Luannee, no issues for first 3 days - felt like a caged animal watching over her recess time :!: .
RGPS is very organized. The PV's are already galvanized and they work like clockwork.
Thanks for your pointer
thought of packing food for recess time, however, have overlooked on preparing some snacks for the bus ride home !

Luanee:
Dear Luanee,
OH I wasnt there during the first 3 days... I just there during recess just on the first day, hee... Dont have so much leave.. Anyway they settle down pretty fast, not to worry..
I am not too sure about the form teachers arrangement...
Thanks for your reassurance
adjustment to school wise I think my dd should be ok, it's just the long bus journey that I am more worried about.....

Hi RGPS mommies,
My S1 is done with PSLE and joing TKSS :). phew!
My D2,RGPS is going P6 . *stress again*
My D3,RGPS is going P1
*Kinddie mode still*
Anyway, Does anyone know the average/mean/median of 2009 PSLE aggregate from the mainstream level (exclude the GEP level). Just wondering coz i heard many frm mainstream levels scored like below 230. It's scary huh..
I think it's good to have some stats of our past yr PSLE to be posted on the RGPS website or even here on KiasuParents.com.
Cheers

Hi mums,
Iโd like to come by during recess to observe my dd on her first day of school but Iโm not sure when that takes place as thereโs no information in the parentโs handbook. Could someone pls advise? Also, can we actually sit with them during recess or are we only allowed to observe from afar?
Thanks! -
Was informed that we are able to watch them frm far. There will be a buddy assigned to them

-
Thanks for that Siti, but do you know what time is recess?
-
if there is no chg, it shd be : 1st recess 3 - 3.30, 2nd recess 3.30 - 4pm. I am not sure which recess time the classes are assigned toโฆ i guess itโs better for us to be there for 1st recess to catch a glimpse of them.

Dont think u have anything to worry abt regarding the bus journey, right now it sounds like one hour is long, dont forget theres a lot of \"distraction\"in the bus and that cuts down a lot of time. Youre lucky the bus comes at 11.30am, mine used to come at 11.10am and NOW at 5.55am
, first to go and last to get back. My girl rather take the bus even though i offer to drive her, she rather be with her friends playing games frm h/p laughing, chatting, arguing and sharing biscuits..I used to make her french toast n cut them into squares as that can last till evening. She will eat in the bus and drink her pkt milo... most kids get hungry in the evening
(oh,hope I didnt scare u}
