Btw, there seems to be alot classes for primary one. Are there any plans of reductions? Heard that some schools actually reduce the no. of primary one classes to cater to the capacity for single session.

Compared to some other schools, PL ain’t a school with a big enrollment to begin with. During my dd1’s time, each P1/P2 class has about 30 plus girls (not sure if it is still the same now). As they move to higher primary, each class has about 40 girls.


PL is a great school. I’ll be registering my dd2 in PL, too.

PL Is a great school. My girl is very happy there and teachers are very supportive.

I heard that there was balloting in Phase 2C last year for < 2 km (not sure - can anyone confirm?). Which phase whould you be in if you are thinking of registering?

Hmm for last year, I think for 1 - 2km, all the SC managed to go in. They usually write the figures on the board.

They managed to keep 9 classes last year so not sure about this year. From what I understood from the school, this isn't within their control and rather MOE.

Currently, the single sessions seem to be working out well so chances are 9 classes of 30 students each are likely to stay

I am assuming that you are interested to register your dd in PL. Which phase will u be in? Based on your comment 'Risky', will u still be keen to register?

Dd2 will be in phase 1. Her jiejie is still in PL

Phrase 2C. But if don’t get in, it’s not the end of the world. Just have to strive harder and tell child buck up and see if can transfer in to this school with the good results.
