Chief, thank heavens you were all right. You were alone or with the family? :scared:

I was with Mrs CKS and my daughter. My son had the runs, so he missed the whole show.

Chief & Harlequin, i had a somewhat similar experience having kena stopped by foreign policemen. I was in shorts and ugly tee driving some peeps to town to get supplies. I literally only washed my face and thought who would know the get-up i was in was actually my pajamas. I was gonna be sitting down driving aniwaes.

One of the chaps, asked me to open the boot to my friend's vehicle (a van) and asked if i had a toolbox. I said yes and he opened it, took something out and then closed it. He closed the door to the back of the vehicle and came to my window. I didn't know if he realised i wasn't actually breathing properly and breaking into cold sweat. I was on Work Permit and have not finished my driving exam. :faint:

He then uttered, \"Miss, your license plate was going to drop but i fixed the problem for you.\" I was still :scared: and felt like i must've lost some colour on my face at the end of his sentence.

I said thank you politely to the officer.. smiled sweetly.. brushed my hair back with my fingers. He then continued.. \"Thank you oni? How about you gimme your number?\"

I didn't know whose numbers i gave him but i was about to piss in my pants and just wanted to leave the scene. I betcha if he saw me again, i'd surely get booked. πŸ˜†

On the contrary, they were enjoying themselves in the car watching me blow up at a complete stranger... the only thing that was missing was popcorn. After the dust has settled, Mrs CKS even asked: \"How did you know the car hit you?\" :faint:

It was like they were not even in the car. πŸ˜†

                  Harlequin:
hee hee... never underestimate any woman

                  And young children

When my hubby Kenna summons and wanted to appeal, he would bring me (his lucky charm) along. When meeting the police/lta officer, I would try to chip in and chit chat a bit to get the officer in an attempt to get him to waive the ticket. Always work πŸ•Ί

I ever acted like a Sam pat ( δΈ‰ε…« ) aunty and pleaded with a tp who was trying to book my hubby for parking on double yellow line. I remembered asking my hubby,\"double yellow line with center single white line (fine ticket costs) how much ar?\" he said,\"I think $70-130\". Wah, I immediately morphed into Sam pat aunty and started pleading the tp. Heng ar, got hubby off the hook. Not sure if it was my imagination but I thought the tp was very harsh on my hubby (the way he looked at or talked to him). He was much nicer to me though.

When it's my fines, I bring son along (my lucky charm). While he might not be abLe to help me in my defense, he was such adorable and polite little bundle and for some reason, softened the officers' judgement on my appeal.

BUT I still try and be mindful when driving.

:rotflmao: It happened to me too. I am just quite bad with things like this. Perhaps men are better at this.

Thanks, firefly38! No, I was too annoyed with his antics to enquire about his web-surfing habits. This ah pek here quite happy with his current car, and the current COE prices makes little sense, so changing cars will be a long-term plan.
