briyani, lagi shiok! bring him to the one at jc complex when he needs to indulge.

I've sworn off indian rojak, not coz of that infamous incident () but becoz they ALWAYS charge ridiculous prices.

Indian mee goreng+prata kosong+mutton soup at Jln Kayu, fantabulous   again.

      Hmmm  maybe soon...

Ahh, try the rojak at Ayer Rajah Hawker centre, West Coast road. Price is resonable and gravy super shiok with mee goreng. Zack is a great fan, me work nearby, so you know.... but I limit myself to once a month. heres the link to the discussion about the rojak store there: http://www.kiasuparents.com/kiasu/forum/viewtopic.php?t=3689&start=30

Joo Chiat complex. There's a renovated kopitiam at ground floor. Indian briyani, super shiok. rice is not the dried-out type, very fragrant, mutton tender. But strangely after eacting I tend to have a good long nap in the afternoon. Could be one of the spices they used.

Never been to Ayer R Hawker Ctr. Out of way; but maybe will try since price not reasonable and they dont anyhow charge hor?

Yep. We shoudl stop here. From health become food. *toing toing* myself

After all the yearend feasting, and before the CNY comes around, I shall revive this topic for parents out there looking to shed some kilos…

But, counting calories is just one way…you’ve to include exercise as well.

Sorry I’m a bit blur. Kcal is different from calories, right? I remember roughly we should eat about 2000 calories per day. What about kcals? Tks!

i’m also blur about kcal. Though i suspect the rough guide of 2000 cal is actually referring to 2000 kcal.

I googled it, and although I didn't do a very thorough search, you could be right.
