Vietnamese 'Japanese' ones? I bought a couple of times but not as sweet and also a tag too dry. Where do you buy yours?

Some market stalls do not sell the good variety - not sweet cum dry inside no matter how long these are steamed.

I buy from a veg stall at Empress Place wet mkt (this stall is not open on Wed) and choose the long slender ones (which are quickie for steaming).

I once bou from Isetan the so-called from Japan sweet potato - disappointment.

It's 大肠 right? Some ethnic dialect may call it 大肠头.
How many types of 肠 do the Chinese eat? I understand they even eat the fallopian tubes.

The only 肠 I take is 猪肠粉 😉

Sinful kuay chap with 大肠头 😓

Since young, I just love large intestine with kuay chap.

Sorry if this kills your appetite :siam: but my love for intestine is until I watched a local documentary by Wong Lilin on embalming.... The sight of the embalmer taking out the intestine.... puts me off intestine probably for life. Might be a blessing in disguise as intestine is indeed not a healthy choice.

I still love kuay chap but now only with tau pok and meat.

My mom bring along my maid to market once or twice weekly. They go to a few markets, from Upp BT all the way to Thiong Bahru, their favorite pass time, LOL.

If I go, I always kena ketuk.... according to my mom.

I only go supermarkets to buy health foods, instant foods, dried foods, dairy products, ice creams and household cleaning items; lately been so so so lazy till just ordering online. :slapshead:
