Vinegar,
No thanks.
My mornings are ME time…very precious. Already stressed over younger one in P3…another one will make my hair all white. The older one in sec 1 is just slightly out of my radar…so can breathe a little.
My brother’s daughter…3.5 months. -

Where to find a good English tutor?
SIL's daughter and neighbour's son attending British council for English. -
Tried that before. It’s more like a fun class. Good for keep the interest in learning though. Don’t gain anything much out of it so I won’t recommend it.

I sent my boy there for PSLE prep class last year. Did not teach much or learn much. Indeed interesting but not value for money. -

DD was with British Council in K1-P2. Agree it is a fun class but the style of teaching is not suitable for her. She needs a more structured form of teaching, hence not able to see progress.
No tuition in English for now. Key weakness is essay writing and comprehension which is due more to her being too lazy to practice/write. Thus far, it had been compensated by near perfect score in MCQs as we had always been ahead of syllabus by around 2 years since p3/p4. But am quite certain this will come back to bite her as she progresses up the level.
Started her on Science tuition and turned out the kids are "friends of friends" and she is now keen to attend the Maths session too as it is more like a social gathering.
