true…each of the study tables i bought cost $1000++ and now i hear the prices have gone up again. but the furniture is adjustable when the child grows bigger and there are many designs. also, there are tables for adults too.

Just visited their showroom at Forum today. Crosscom bags cost between $230-280. cant comment on anything else as have not used it before

But i need feedback regarding their table and chair though. The set of table, chair and table light cost $3600 and waiting time is at least 16 weeks if the order is placed today. Any comments from anyone who owns a set if this is worth investing in??

yeah. thats why trying to get feedback on how useful they are.. not a small investment - more expensive than any of my own bags!!!!

                Hi

Both my children have been using cross com bags since primary one. On the whole, the bags are sturdy and lasting. Most importantly, it provides good support for their spines considering the weight of the books they have to carry. It is value for money and in my opinion, a worthwhile investment for a good six years or more.

thanks. actually his school is also mindful of this and they have instructed us parents to hand over some of the books for the teachers to keep in school (when we report for the first day). this is to minimize the amount of books they have to carry.

so the bags are good enough quality to last six years or more? what about capacity wise? enough for everything, you think?

                  thanks.

It all depends. My daughter has been carrying the same bag since pr 1. She will be in pr 6 next year. Of late, she has been complaining of a lack of space but guess we will not get a bigger one for her (there are different sizes available). The bag is still in a good condition. She may need to carry any extra books in a carrier though.

My son, being more rugged ,has to get a new one in pr 5. He is the kind whose uniforms, shoes and almost anything get worn out faster than the sister’s. The interior gets torn more easily than the exterior. Anyway, crosscom offers discounts when we trade in old crosscom bags to get a new one.

We bought the table and chair set too for my son. It is still in good conditon after so many years. However, it is not fully utilised cos my son prefers to do his work at our family area on the teak table and chair.

Hi, I bought my boy ergonomic table and chair from kinderfun. The price’s alot more competitive than crosscom.

If I remember correctly, the set rounds up to be about S$1500 (for a table and chair only), plus they give out free ergonomic bag. Had to buy the 3M light for him (so it’s another S$100+)

We were first attractive to crosscom at Suntec and the sales lady was very good in introducing her products. But the whole set (table, chair, lamp) was like S$3K.

We went to Kinderfun showroom next (near Outram area) and was not too impressed by the sales lady. But we didn’t need anymore introduction from her about ergonomic furniture since we already knew alot from Crosscom. The products were more or less the same, similar concepts, just that it wasn’t packaged so nicely or professional like Crosscom.

My boy has been using the table like for half year already and when I look back, I didn’t regret my decision to buy from Kinderfun. The table and chair is still good and I think it will probably last quite sometime. Somemore we got the bag, so will use the bag when he turns P1 2 years later.
