Personally I have not seen the internal. I din attend the open house last year, perhaps I should find a chance to walk around ;).
But reading the above I asked my son this morning.
Son reply was \"yah, some places look old\".
I went '\"Haaahhhh. Then not very nice right?\" :skeptical:
Son replied \"But mommy, we are only studying in the classroom. Wall nice or not doesn't matter to us\" :boogie:
but of course, I (the mommy) still prefer to study in a nice environment.
But if the children dun mind, it's fine with me too.

Both My sons are in ACSI, yr 1 & yr 4.
Never once did I hear them complain about the school ground being run down.
Boys being boys... I guess they are not really particular.
One thing I know for sure, this is the place they learn, have fun, bond and grow... a place they stay over for several nights a year during camps... a place they are totally comfortable in ---- their 2nd home.
My elder son was leading visitors for school tours last Saturday and a parent asked him if non-Christians will feel out of place in the school.
His answer : I am also a non-Christian and I find that the values taught in school can be applied across all individuals, not limited to Christianity. For the record, teachers do not preach. However, you may occasionally find some well-meaning friends trying to convert you.
I am heartened to see my boys comfortably settled and proud to be a part of ACSI. -
breezy: very glad to hear that; it's exactly what ACS is all about, whether at Dover Road or at any other location β and if an ACS school is not like that, then we should be concerned.

This happens in every other school as well.
However, you may occasionally find some well-meaning friends trying to convert you.

Thanks autolycus for the info. For a 20 year old building, this is some what to be expected.
I hope others do not misunderstand. In no way did i equate the schoolβs spirit nor the academic standards to the state of its physical structures. -
How many O level and IB classes by Yr4?
What is the class size for both? -

Not all all, zeemimi, I just wanted to share that the boys are not too bothered by it.

Hi nebbermind,How many O level and IB classes by Yr4?
What is the class size for both?
This yr, 4.01 to 4.08 are express classes and
4.09 to 4.18 , IP classes.
My son's IP class has 29 students. Not too sure about express classes though.
Cheers. -

Express classes go up to 36, but there are sometimes temporary 'extras'.

My DS is in year 2 IP class. May I know is there any "Talks" about year 3 subjects combination? E.g. what subjects combination are available? what is the selection criteria?
Understand some others IP schools already had theirs.
Thank you
