My son is in 1E and in day care too. No news of the SCC extended hours. However, what I know is other day care operate by YMCA closes at 6.30pm as well.

I think for day care in schools, their closing time is greatly affected by the closing time of the school itself.

Yes, you are right. Before applying the SKG day care, I did look around within Sengkang area if any private center provide day care service and apparently, the private day care operate till 7 pm and strictly additional 5 more off days only as their teachers need to go for training ( a little too far for me to travel) . As for SKG day care, their operation days and hours really depend on the school.

As a fernvaler… i am considering SKG and Fernvale Primary for my son’s P1 enrollment this year.

Any idea when can I indicate interest in the school’s scc? I hear of waiting list at some scc and wonder if there is someth like that at SKG.


Can parents feedback one their children’s experience with the inhouse scc? And the activities of the school?

Also if anyone knows if it is possible for boys to join boy scouts if school don’t have the cca? Thanks a lot…

Jus called up the school, briefing will be on 13 July 2013 but time not finalized yet.. Asked to look out for the update in website or poster outside the school
