Your kids belong to nursery level or playgroup? Both my kids are in Carpe Diem of block 954 near Hougang 1 there. So far I like the school very much. The school is old and quite full, but i like their programs and the teachers. Some young teachers do come and go every year, but the locals and experienced ones are there for many years. They are caring and know all the kids by name regardless of whether under their care, they have good feedback and communication system for the parents, I get to view pictures of my kids through their ichild website.
You may see my review and other posts of the school http://learnthefunway.blogspot.sg/search/label/Preschool%20Centre -

Yup, the in charge now is Florence, I find her a bit blur coz she forgotten my boy’s intake is in Jan, but overall she’s a nice lady.
The only bad points I could think of is the school very crowded. Got one Malay teacher a bit fierce to the students, but I heard from my husband this Malay teacher is also very caring to the students, anyway she’s not taking care of my kids so I got no much comment.
The less experience teachers normally look after younger kids, the more experienced ones will promote to look after older kids in K1 and K2. The teachers consist of quite many PRC and Filipino, but I’m ok with it coz they speak better Chinese and English.
Jan and Feb are normally a more chaotic period coz many new students and new teachers, the school will be noisy with kids crying around. But it’ll settle down starting from March, so you may consider put your kids there after March.
When my gal started the school, my helper accompanied her there almost one month, slowly reduced the hours spent with her. The teachers never told my helper to leave unlike other Kindy which do not allow parents to stay in the school for more than 3 days. So far both my kids have smooth transition adapting to the school.
My gal performed on their year end concert last year, I saw her progress from a shy kid to a kid with confidence, I really like how the school has groom her.
Try visit the school during different hours e.g. morning, noon, afternoon to get a better idea of the school. It is open concept so you could see what the kids are doing in the school. -

Bugz83, I am looking at Apple Tree at blk 600plus. Cannot remember the exact blk.
It is near my parents’ place.
There’s Talent Plus Group at blk 643 that is a daily playgroup.
Appre Tree is few times a week. I am looking at few times a week type.
