Lol, wait till you see my mom's braised pork belly, I suspect even the ants will suffocate in those layers of fats! She used to cook this dish quite often when we were in Japan, the Japanese neighbor good friend always tsk tsk at how the Chinese can eat so much fats.... and still stay slim (my mom, that is. But not my dad hor...) :rotflmao:

Wow! Your baked fish looks yummy, what's the spices you used to make the nice brown baked color?

I’m not satisfied after dinner. Feel that something is missing. Maybe I’m stressed. I still feel like having fried chicken wings, Rojak and ice cream float…

My dinner was stir fried wongbok, steam egg with egg tofu and baked chicken drumlet marinated with thai bbq sauce.

Thanks all for the suggestions. Jennifer the steam egg with tofu is good.

                        TheAnswer,

I deep fried some fresh silver fish (dust with some flour) but turn out very salty.I didn’t put any salt. nid to pre-soak the "fresh silver fish"??

i wonder how come fresh silver fish can be salty compared to dried ones…
