I came home around 4pm, caught the carpenters whom are installing my wet kitchen cabinets blasting their stereo at the back yard.... Their stereo was playing this Hokkien number--
等呀等呀,等无人...等无心爱船入港
无釆我,无釆我,妆 ka 水珰珰,
海风笑我是 gong 人
海鸟笑我空等.....
I stood there for the song.... Have been humming the song till now

I just have a pear as snack instead of biscuits. Trying to cut down on sugary confectionary.
It's a good start :snuggles: -

Went to Punggol this morning. Walked from Tebing Lane (off Punggol East Road) to Punggol Point Park.

Ate a healthy salad (I think)! It had spinach, broccoli, mushroom, tofu, sunflower seeds, green pepper, fresh mozzarella and beets with oil & vinegar dressing! ^^

Took an hour nap. :imcool:

Just got back from a 2km run. Short run cos pun cek oredi.
DD needed to train for her upcoming napfa so I accompanied her. Her coach wanted her to get gold for everything. She's ok with all except the 1.6km. Need to clock under 8min to get gold.
So we pushed ourselves, aiming for that timing. Yao le wo de lao ming. :faint: We came in at under 10mins for 1.6km.
At 40+ yrs old I am clocking that kind of time when never in my teens did I ever passed the 2.4km.
Edit: Just checked the Napfa standards. My DD made me run for my life for nothing. All she needed was to clock under 12min, NOT 8min, :slapshead: to ensure an overall Gold award. -

Hey, same here. I struggled to finish 2.4km during my teenage years ( still remeber friends whom finished lined up to cheer me up) but now at 40's  , I breezed through 4-5km. Strange hor? Mind over body
Ermm...I didnt exercise today and I ate Magnum ice cream!
