If transfer takes place before end of p1 - if you're a Methodist church member & stay nearby, transfer is easier.

But if transfer occur after end of p1 onwards, the school will start to look at your child's academic results + any contribution from niche cca, that plmgs value, or competition / contests that your child had taken part in before, & displayed confidence.

My dd transferred at end P2. The above did not apply in our case. However, we 🙏 n left it in God's hands.

Hi.. Did the school call you or you have to follow up with them?
I called them once at the end of P1, n another time towards the 3rd qtr of P2. I received a call from PL to proceed with the transfer during the last few days of the year.

hi, does anyone knows what happen when the school bus breakdown? does the school provide alternative transport for the children or we have to make our own arrangement?

            Hi,

My girl was back from P4 adventure camp on Wednesday. She caught a flu few days before she went to her camp and she was still recovering. On Thursday, I was told that 8 of her classmates did not turn up for school, 5 was still absent the following days.

My daughter insisted to go to school the next day after school camp as school exam starts next week. Even though she slept early and took afternoon nap, she still feels very tired. Her flu didn’t get better and today she fell sick again. She is running a fever and having a sore throat. Monday is her SA1 paper.

All these could have been avoided if the school camp is scheduled after the school exam. This camp has taken away time and energy from my daughter in preparation for her exam. Although she has started her revision for exam few weeks back, there are still topics that she need time and energy to revise in order to score good grades.
She is very worried. Although I m very upset and angry, I have to encourage her to rest and get well soon which is the most important thing to do.

I really do not understand the reason for the timing chosen for the school camp, on top of that, this time of the year is high dengue fever season, where is the wisdom?

Go to the school website, download the Transfer Waitlist Form n mail them the form along with the required infor. Doesn't harm to also state your reason(s) for transfer. HTH

Noticed the staff in the general office is not helpful at all.

How do we make arrangements to see the principal?
that's weird, usually the ladies there are very helpful. when did you go to the office?

did you inform them why you would wish to meet the principal for? Miss Chua is usually around but due to her busy schedule, you would need a week or more to arrange to meet with her?

                    Parents'-Teachers' Meeting

Kind of excited ... haha. a little apprehensive as well.

PTM is over!!! How was yours? It took a while to meet the teachers as each parent took around 15 - 20 mins

I have work to do on my dds, 2 different things to work on for them. Grades wise still ok.

They have class party on Friday!! looking forward to that to prepare goodies 🕺

no, they don't reveal such information. That's band 2 for Eng and Chinese, Band 1 for Maths. it is ok but did the teacher say anything on what to improve?
