                applebad96:
Yes, marked within the School's PW department at first, but scripts will be further marked and checked by the SEAB to ensure fairness. Furthermore, the Oral Presentation component will partly be judged by external examiners.

May I ask when is this PW start and end till the result is out in JC2 ? and when is the presentation ? Is this the one and only one project students do in the course of JC years? Thanks.

PW starts in J1, somewhere near the start of Term 1, which if memory serves, is in Feb/Mar. It should end in Aug/Sep/Oct; i.e the writing portion. Can't recall well haha.

The oral presentation was after Promos I think. After that, it just ends, and gets filed in some obscure dusty mental cabinet.

Teacher should tell you the criteria at the beginning. It's much like a Humanities subject; vague outlines with hypothetical phrases like ''well-though out reflection that display concise critical thinking\", and such. There's nothing that stipulates that if a student can churn out a thousand word reflection, he would get X marks.
