the one i went at tien hsien is a very young chinese teacher and when my boy spoke to.the teacher in chinese she doesnt.seem to respone to my boy...so shall i wait at other time slot?

Believe d kid must learn to luv /like d subj 1st or @least no anti sentiments before embarking a more challenging route in p1. There is plentiful of chance to do spelling in p1.. Weekly affair.
Bt i do believe Introducing HYPY in k2 is good as not all presch is hving tis in their curriculum.
I wen thru great length to let my potato DS not to reject chn..
Fr chn cartoons( slam dunk to 喜羊羊) N chn comic books i will just buy without 2nd tots... So far he is still swimming pretty well in his highly stressed SAP hcl class... Hee

I believe the kids are already taught how to write these words in class as DS could write some of these words before I start revising with him. Not 100% right, but not totally off. I remember feeling slightly stressed when I got him to learn the list the night before the tingxie. Turned out it wasn't as tough as I thought. Of course, it would have been better if we had started earlier.

You know what I like about 天下？in a K2 class, 1 teacher will take care of 10 children. But in Berries, there is 1 main teacher and 1 asst teacher to about 16 children (correct me if I'm wrong). So it means 1 Berries teacher is teaching 16 children as compared to 1 天下teacher teaching 10 children.
Assistant teacher is to put for a better teacher student ratio. But in actual fact, 1 teacher to 10 children is better in 天下 than 1 teacher to 16 children in Berries.

Parents, know what you are paying for. Having lesser students in a class allows the teacher to spend more time to focus on each individual child for Oral Component like K2 Picture description in 天下 Oral for Preparatory P1 class.

I like the K2 Tien Tsia too. I like their materials n the word cards given every week. It is easier for me to revised with my DS.


However , for P3 class, is it true that TS standard is much higher? My DD just started to attend TS for a term. realized that she did not do well in the test paper by TS. Is it a concern?
