Hindi exams conducted in different schools every semester.

My child is P3 in Hindi Society. Find it hard to get a good and committed tutor for Hindi.


Anyone can share his or her experience in getting a tutor?

For P1, any idea when the marks for oral and written exam would be given out? Also in Parent Teacher meeting what will they discuss? will the exam sheet be shown?

Just wondering why we need to travel to centralised centre for the meeting? Why cant they just hold it in the resp centre…it will save time for both parents and teachers!

Think the exam paper will be shown. No compo/letter, Just paper 2. So you can get a gauge of what kind of mistakes the child makes.

You can ask if you have any queries. Not exactly a parent teacher as your child's teacher may not likely be the one to talk to you. So ...

Waiting time may be high - frustrating as usual, but have gotten used to this

Hi everyone, can a student change MT after P4? my only worry is if the child cant cope up with an existing MT what are the options left?

Ex: MT is Mandarin cant cope can change to Hindi or Tamil in P4?

HI I dont think you will be allowed to change …my son is in P4 now, but when I approached the principal to get him to switch while in P3, she said he wont be able to adjust to another language and he is already halfway through.


Hence I will consider to drop the Mother tongue language once he comes to P5.

Never knew can drop mother tongue after P5? Thought its compulsary..
