you might want to try asking her to do fill in the blank first for a start.

once she got it right, you may want to change the words to be filled in and ask her try.

Any last minute tips for Chinese comp exams?! SA1 is tomorrow and my m-i-l who usually helps my daughter has been sick for the past week.


What should I tell her to focus on? For English I just reminded her to have a beginning, middle & end and to include how the people felt and the moral of the story which the teacher always seems to want. And of course to check spelling and grammar. And try to include a few clever words or phrases.

I don’t speak Chinese btw…

I do not see much notes from school regarding chinese oral. How can we help to equip our DC for this level to excel in oral? At P3, what is essential and what is bonus? Kindly advise.

Talking about Chinese Oral practice, I would like to share a book. Big wordings, neat arrangement of sentences, clear tips, and money worth (SGD7.40 for P3&P4). It’s not easy to find an assessment book that my boy willing to pick up and read by himself. (Caution: Each Child Is Unique!)
