Me Time!

I’m finally back So sorry for having abandoned you guys for the past 7 months. I broke my hand in early October last year in a bicycle accident when I was riding in East Coast Park. Serves me right as I as going too fast. Spent 3 months in a cast. Then the US elections came and I was totally depressed by the outcome. I totally left all news outlets and buried myself in Netflix and PrimeTV. Now I’m totally sick of these channels .

My hand is ok now, but it’s still painful to twist. Been exercising it regularly… and the therapist says must do it every 2 hours . Oh well. At least I can type now without pain.

Totally agree with slmkhoo! I simply can’t find the patience with this new forum format … However, I do seriously miss the camaraderie & friendship of ksp, & have joined zacs mum’s FB team, yay! What I wanna say is that, I’m happy to share my contact info - please give me a shout out. And, chenlaoshi, you’re still my top choice of Chinese coaching

@sky-minecrafter My FB account has been hacked and I gave up on restoring it. I don’t use it anyway. Does zac_mum use Whatsapp? That is still my preferred communications channel.

@ChiefKiasu WA is good for simple communications, but not so good for large groups with multiple discussion threads. I really do hope KSP can somehow get back to the lively discussions, easily navigable, as in the past.

@ChiefKiasu Yes i have Whatsapp. And i discovered sthg interesting today: for those audio voice messages, Whatsapp now has a transcription-into-text function! They seem to have taken a leaf out of Wechat, which has had this function long ago. I really dislike trying to listen to a voice message when it’s noisy outdoors!

I’ve been a long-time reader of the KSP forums, though I haven’t posted much in recent years. I’m responding to slmkhoo’s post—hopefully more of the ‘oldies’ will start posting again, and the Me Time thread will become active once more.
