had wonderful ME TIME yesterday.
took a bus down to isetan scotts. spent some time walking around before going to tangs basement for lunch and walked over to ion and then takashimaya basement. bought a pair of earrings from bedazzled for daughter as a reward for her not too bad results. thank goodness i was wearing a comfortable pair of shoes. i was walking from one mall to another using underground links and had no idea it was so hot and humid until i reached kent ridge station to meet son for his medical review.
i bought son an xbox game earlier. i believe in rewarding kids for their positive attitude towards work and effort put in. so i am both the good and the bad guy
i've played the bad guy for years...but the kids are still close to me. it has been a rewarding 17 years being a SAHM. -
I become a SAHM for 1.5yrs but my kids are 11 & 8. Really not used to it yah. So coming in to see see and being kpo too… haha…

Am having ME time till tonight as both dh and dd having dinner outside
Earlier I had a scare as the icons on my iphone disappeared and I couldn’t power off to restart. I was thinking we just bought iphone 7 for dd. we can’t be buying another for myself. After some pressing here and there, my iPhone 6 Plus restarted and now I can continue using it. What a relief! -

So I went to both top girl schools open houses recently. It is my first time doing so although I have been to one of the girl school several times by now. Culturally I realized both schools are very different. I wonder how many girls are actually like that in that school or is the open house more a façade than reality? I try to match my kids to the school’s culture by looking at the behavior displayed at the open house. Is that realistic?

Would depends on the situation if they don't need to be nosey at that moment then I'm bad lor haha
don't have to be nosey because kids will tell me everything which happens in school without fail....so i have to keep my ears open for them....and when i keep quiet, they think i didn't hear and they repeat
which is why come evenings when hubby returns home, i am too tired to listen and to talk.
