Learning cycling

we bought DS a 2-wheeler kick scooter. He played with it for a few weeks, each time we encouraged him to try to stay on the scooter longer with each kick.
then we bought him a normal bike. He just peddled away -
Learning to ride is not challenging at all unless you have something working against you. It is easy to ride . It is challenging to balance on a cycle that is position still. If you are afraid then the natural tendency is to gradually down.

You can learn it by yourself by searching some basic techniques on Google.

I didn’t learn how to cycle, until 11 years old. Now I am 14. I learnt how to cycle by myself. Everytime I fell down, I would pick myself up and try again. Even if people kept staring, I tried over and over again, and eventually I learnt how to do it. All it takes is some patience and resilience.

Its better to learn cycling by themselves I learned myself But at the starting stage, its necessary to give a support by us.So that I will give them a confident and courage to ride.
And more than than before trying bicycle its better to give them supportive wheels along with that.so that they can learn it easily without fearing of fall. -
My DD is 12 and is too embarrassed to go down and cycle. Any tips?

Do u mean a 2-wheeler balance bike? Because I find that starting toddlers on balance bike first helps with their balancing skills. Later when DS moved to a normal bike, he never had that usual fear of falling (which inhibits most adults) because he would “instinctively” put his feet down if the bike overbalanced one way or the other. Actually this was due to the many years of “training” on the balance bike.we bought DS a 2-wheeler kick scooter. He played with it for a few weeks, each time we encouraged him to try to stay on the scooter longer with each kick.
