Just a suggestion. Maybe should put

Parent nick name ----- School ---- School top t-score ---- Child t-score (optional)

      1)
      2)
      3)
I think leave out the name of the school and top t score.

        mummy so kiasu:

PSLE is already over, what is there to stress about. So what if no one post the name of the top scorers, we know that it will be in the range of 28+. Chinese has a saying \"you will be worse than those above you but better than those below you\".

Most of us are in the average. 80/20 rule still apply. Anyway, all of us know where our kids stand There are not many scholars around. We are not scholars too. We have to manage our our expectation, just be more realistic.
        :goodpost:
We as parents just have to realistic...then we will not be stressed. Only we as parents will know where our kids stand...btw, PSLE today is unlike our time. So we have to understand what our kids have gone through.
Parents are stressed if they have an expectation of 260 and above.

Children can be average only by the PSLE yardstick at age 12. Parents must not make them feel and treat them like average for life. Love them, support them and nurture them. They are our gems when they were born, they are still our gems. Do not let a digit diminish our quality relationship with our children.

          Cheers

Not sure about that. My sister's 2 children scored 271 and 273 respectively. They were not stressed at all, no external extra lessons, went fishing during PSLE papers, played computer games, piano and dancing classes as usual...

On the other hand, my cousin and his only child was highly stressed, it was not that my cousin expected his child to score 260 and above, he \"only wanted his boy to DO HIS BEST\". 😄

We can compile school name and top t score but do not associate with nick name. 🙂

                      Hi Twinkies,

OUR kids are our precious gems…they should not be determined by 3 digits.
                      Some kids are really geniuses.
BTW, I wasn’t referring to you regarding high expectations…please don’t get me wrong.
