collected quite a bit of mooncakes brochures.. *headache*

            should be..

Peony Jade (ex Crown Prince Hotel) flaky yam paste for MIL

Goodwood Park durian mooncake for mum

Sze Chuan Court mixure of their snow skin mooncake for aunt

still headache over nanny.. 2 boxes..!! thinking baked ones from Ritz Carlton and another box of snow skin from somewhere else..

so expensive.. i did not even buy a box for own consumption.. 😞

HB tell me to buy for my mum 2 goodwood durian and 2 goodwood baked so can have best of both worlds cuz some places sell in boxes of 4 but goodwood sell in 2s or 4s..

so many choices.. got four seasons.. got 717.. got home favourites black gold durian.. dunno which one my mum will like!!

                  Hi Hi,

Thoroughly disappointed and dismayed with the prices of mooncakes this year! Walked around the Raffles City mooncake stores twice and walked away empty-handed and started to sms to complain to my friends!

I think it is not far off to say one box averages around SGD50/= this year!

                  Really give up!

Now I am buying from \"Da Tong\" from Chinatown, one box of double-egg yolk is thirty-plus. Cheapest compared to all the rest!
                  😞

Raffles hotel mooncakes are not bad. Thinking of it makes me hungry. Lolx… Time flies so fast… Mooncakes festival is coming soon. Regretted to have bought an irritating lantern for my gal. The music is really irritating. Y aren’t there any Mozart, Bach or Beethoven tunes lanterns??

                      insider:
I literally throw away several mooncakes every year........Will receive many gift boxes every year (and even if I want to 转送 I also don't have so many people who want them...)

PS: While in HK airport saw some 'low-sugar' mooncakes available from 荣华月饼。 Any low sugar brand available in Singapore?
                      Hi insider,

Wow! That's equivalent to throwing away a lot of money given the moon-cake prices this year! But then of course even worst if after eating get into medical problems then got to spend on medical bills.......

As for the low sugar brand, the HK brand \"Weng Wah\" you mention is also now selling in Singapore. I saw their store at the Raffles City 3rd floor mooncake carnival. They are selling this low sugar one!

                      :celebrate:

                        Hi Hi!

Yeh, I found those music ones too irritating and ear-piercing for me to buy for my DS, better buy those without any music! I am waiting for my DS to be older first then will buy him those traditional paper type and he can use real candles for the lanterns!
                        :celebrate:
