Go girls!!
It is fair to have more girls' schools bcos girls perform better in PSLEjtoh:
So it looks like the following are likely:
Catholic High
Victoria School
SJI
MGS
SCGS
Cedar Girls
Three girls schools and 3 boys schools. If St Nicholas is in then we'll have 4 girls schools. Hhhhmmm.... Are there any likely co-ed schools?

Not sure whether the past years performance of the potential schools' in the \"O\" level as per http://www.moe.gov.sg/media/press/files/2009/09/moa-2009-annex-e1.pdf plays a part in the selection of these new 7 IP schools or not? It's really sad if schools like http://www.andersonsec.moe.edu.sg/web1/index.asp and http://www.crescent.edu.sg/ are not included in this round of 7 new IP schools.
I guess the other two are Cedar and St Nicmusette:
No press release yet from MOE. But I heard the following schools are in:
Catholic High
Victoria School
SJI
MGS
SCGS
The other 2, not sure, but heard not BPGH, Nan Hua or Chung Cheng High.
Band 1 status (Average L1B5 less than 11) for Express stream
Anderson Sec: 2005 (10.5), 2006 (9.6), 2007 (10.3), 2008 (10.0) and 2009 (10.4)
Crescent Girls: 2005, 2006, 2007, 2008 and 2009
These 2 schools had attained band 1 status for 5 years in a row.

VC's mum
Guess we'll have to wait and see. It also depends on how hard the schools have been working at and pushing for IP too. -
My guess for co-ed school is Anderson Secondary - Anderson JC.

jtoh:
It won't be that 90% of the JC intake will be from the IP schools. Even HCI/NYCH and RI/RGS do not take up 90% of their respective JCs.
Even if it is 70 % then how that JC is going to remain economically viable with those students not coing thro'.....
What will happen to JC that is affliated to these schools... Will it close down, if 90 % students were from School identified for IP?DadOfGirl:
I guess the other two are Cedar and St Nic
If not , MOE will annouce school which are not affliated to JC ... that way you maintain already running JC -

2007: 10.8
2008: 10.2
2009: 10.8
Now, it is a hot potential school to be included in this round of new 7 IP schools. If so, the feeder primary schools of SJI will be hot too.
