      MightyMaths teach some concepts.

CMA abacus doesn’t teach much concepts. CMA basically train kids fast how to + - x divide fast, using beads abacus first, then slowly do away with the beads, move onto mental next.

more important is concepts. can be learnt from MightyMaths, Montessori Maths, Sakamoto, etc. Thus, i encourage you to try MightyMaths, Sakamoto or other form of Maths that teach concepts.

My son is attending class in CMA too. Just started a month ago. We did a lot of homework, much more than what was assigned by the teacher. Because of that he was able to proceed very fast. In a way, save time and money. So, my advice is, don’t really have to start your children too young.

Btw, I think CMA aim to train the whole brain of the child, through the use of abacus and imaging. It also helps children to conquer their fear against number. I like what my son is learning, and is very involved in his work too.

                  Hi

I am interested to register my girl into CMA at Novena (Goldhill Centre) this week.

Is any one willing to send me your referral to enjoy the registration discount?

Also any personal experience to share regarding the 2 teachers teaching the Foundation class - Teacher Hong Yu and Teacher Maggie? Are they good? Is one better than the other?
