Hi Dino, my gal started arnd 3plus. As long as the child is able to start writing 0-9 independantly, they can start kindy program.
She started off with their kindy program, its quite easy. Identifying the numbers, aka abacus beads and writing it down and simple additions.

So far so gd! she’s been progressing well and liking numbers.

I take it as an exposure to her, so not really looking at speed calculations etc as I dont want to put additional pressure on her.

Hi! I am worried as my son who is 3 years 9 months has yet to write. He recognised numbers with no problem at all but yet to write independently. Am I too anxious ? Should I even start him on cma ? If so, does yishun have good and patient teachers ? Pls pls advise. Happy new year to all !!

i would think he's not ready for CMA yet, but the teachers will be in a better position to advise. u can try getting those wipe and erase kind to let him write on if its illegible its ok, coz their motor skills will refine as they grow up.
