Driver took out the parcel and unwrapped it revealing some parangs.
DS1: What's this? Are you going for a show down?
Driver: No Sir, these are not mine, they're my friend's
DS1: Ok then, you call your friends here and I'll call mine.
DS1 always says this: 'Mum, you know why you are sleeping peacefully every night? It's cos I'm working at night to ensure that.'
Kudos tutormum!! You have done well with such a great son!
:celebrate:
p/s. please thank him for his noble job. :celebrate:
DS1 is street smart and thank God for protecting him. I always pray for him to ensure his safety. I always discuss with him on life issues since he was young and ensure that he grows up knowing right from wrong. He was once approached by a gang in school to join them. He refused and one of them accused him of something. In the end DS1 allowed the boy to punch him to settle the matter. DS1 told him that after punching him, the boy had to leave him alone. That was how he saved himself from being pulled into a gang. He's well known in school not because of his academic performance but his character. His primary and secondary school teachers always praise him for his \"zheng yi gan\". When they knew that he join the force, they were all for it. Though salary is not much but I'm proud of him. His cousins who are in the Uni were sarcastic saying that 'if you can't do well in school, join the force like him lah\". Yet their characters have much to be desired. Well, DS1 is doing his private degree in psychology after finding his direction.
You have done a great job raising a son like him. He is one lucky boy to have you as his parent! :celebrate: -

Friends turn aggressive at murdered teen's funeral

The reporters are extremely heartless you know??? Their only son, the parents have to come and say no, and they keep on doing it, for their \"job\". Seriously, they should have some decorum, you know. If they don't want it, and they still video, they very well have the right to sue. I say, let them sue, they have full right to, and, the reporters are extremely :siao: siao.... If I was in that situation, I wouldn't care if I was filmed, I would take the camera and throw it onto the ground already....

The rest learn from peers (cos school does not enforce the rules they set in terms of using vulgarities).
I'm pretty strict on that so the kids now learn to zip it in front of me, but I still overhear it in the canteen. -

Well, the rude language in the blog is distracting and obscures the more important observation regarding the hypocrisy of humans who shed tears over the manner of death rather than death itself.Someone blogging about the incident...

Perhaps the blogger can take comfort by watching Robin William's http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1262981/ to draw parallels of hypocrisy between this unfortunate event and the fictional events that happened in the movie. Or perhaps she can just try to understand that people do need to find ways to come to terms with a tragedy as horrific as this, and lament the snuffing out of a life so young. -

She has removed her post and here is her apology so matter closed:
First and foremost,
if I seem to be offensive towards any of Darren’s close friends or family because people think that I am insensitive, I am sorry for affecting you or cause any more grievance that you are already experiencing.
I do admit that in the first post, I was vague and I did not clearly mention the specific group that I was targetting at, only to mention it more in the later few posts.
I admit that posting vulgarities such as ‘fucking’ and ‘fuck’ do reflect badly on me, and that was my mistake, so I sincerely apologise for it. I am aware that I sounded harsh on it as well. I am not someone who uses vulgarities on humans, but on ‘issues’ instead. But since this concerns a life, I guess that post was a tad too insensitive and if I could, I would remove the vulgarities and rephrase my words so that my points could be better concentrated on back then.
However, I am apologising to only those who are genuinely sad for Darren and are agitated by my seemingly ‘rude and insensitive’ words used in my post. I understand that these words may agitate people and hence they will naturally condemn me as someone who disprespects him before really understanding my later posts. I am at fault for raking it up when it is none of my business, but I am clearly just reflecting my point of view in this blog, targetting at the group of people who seemingly are affected by his death when they are not even close or know him at all.
I am in no way trying to ‘be famous’ by blogging about it, just wanting to share my point of view which was harsh, yes. I have no intention to ride on someone’s death just to be famous, or notorious you may say. Yes people are trying to ‘defend’ the victim by lashing at me through the tagboard, saying that I am immature and childish and insenstive. You all may be right in saying so, but to prove yourselves likewise by cursing my family and my boyfriend just forces me to ignore your tags because,
if that is the way you act, and if you see me as insensitive and heartless,
then how different are you from me?
After mentioning about the email part, I received mails from people and I can tell that they really want to talk to me, instead of those lashing out at the tagboard. The tone was good, and they just wanted to point out to me what I did wrong, and of course there are people who think like me as well.
For these, I thank you for being understanding and trying to get the point of my posts.
But for the public, I have to emphasize on a few points once again.
1. I did not insult the victim.
2. I did not say the victim is childish.
3. I was referring to the incident as a whole.
4. I am not referring to people who are the victim’s close friends/family.
5. I am not trying to be famous although I think I have attracted a lot of attention, but I am just fine without it.
People want an apology from me, this is what you get it. But this apology is for
1. My vulgarities.
2. My lack of ‘consideration’ for his family and close friends.
3. The mistaken idea of me trying to be famous using his death.
And nothing else.
The fact that the hypocrites exist, still remain.
And I hope that after calming down and reading this again will make you guys understand that you do not just blindly lash at someone without getting your facts right, dragging down innocent people like my family, friends or boyfriend, if you mean to defend the victim or make me realise my mistake. It is a bad move.
I guess no one will apologise for the harsh insults recklessly made to innocent people.
But I will appreciate it if you guys can stop attacking mindlessly. I want this thing to stop and I have learnt to keep my thoughts to myself, or just rant it somewhere privately next time.
I am just quite disappointed with the fact that people cannot accept harsh realities, when I am not the only one thinking so. So guys, if you are still not satisfied, please tell me about it.
Regarding the removal of post, I believe that what’s done cannot be undone. Those words are indeed what I felt at that point of time and there is a reason for blogging it out, to express my views. So why take it down when people start to criticise me? Then there is no point in expressing my views in the first place. I do not mean that I am sticking to the first post, as explained in this post, I do know about what I did wrong in it and hope that the public will see my apologies on it rather than harping on it.
Because imagine if I removed it, people will go ‘you have already angered us, does it make any difference whether you remove it or not?’. Nah, I have done my part apologising on the things that needs to be apologised, so it’s up to you guys whether to let this matter rest or not -

Or so she thinks. The funny thing is that here we have someone profiting from the very event that she criticized other people for creating a circus. Fame through infamy seems to be the order of the day.She has removed her post and here is her apology so matter closed:
