They receive sms/email on the CO / WL and at the same time were informed to attend the tea reception.. (that's for NYGH)

Quite a few schools having interview on 16 & 17 aug. Is this norm? I heard that previous years, result will be out by mid Aug.

Only some schools. Most schools would have offers out end of Aug or even by the few days before the dateline in September.

Last year by Aug 18 NUSH,RI,ACS I, RGS, NYGH released the results. I think also HCI (this I based on last year KP threads). with RGS/NYGH and NUSH before National day.

hmm if the results are out during oral then it is big headache for parents . we cannot hide it too as DC's will know of it in school
