Some received result just before oral last year. Quite demoralizing for those who din make it.

Quite a few schools having interview on 16 & 17 aug. Is this norm? I heard that previous years, result will be out by mid Aug.
Only some schools. Most schools would have offers out end of Aug or even by the few days before the dateline in September. -

Last year, NYGH released the results quite early - before National Day. The geppers COs have their tea reception on the 5 Aug (roughly) and the mainstreamers COs and WLs have their tea receptions a week later on a Fri and Sat respectively (roughly huh..) -
Which come first? Receiving the CO or the tea reception?

They receive sms/email on the CO / WL and at the same time were informed to attend the tea reception.. (that's for NYGH) -

hmm if the results are out during oral then it is big headache for parents
. we cannot hide it too as DC's will know of it in school

My place postman only come after 2pm. The rest normally send result via email first right follow-by hardcopy letter :nailbite:
