1. we parents feel for my DS, ACS (I) is better as ACS (I) is more relaxed than RI .
2. To me RI for excellence, My DS need to work hard for every thing including to get in to CCA he wants .

The ACSI boys do look like they have a lot more fun. Haven't seen many muggers there. Great sense of humour and eloquent speakers. Definitely looks more relaxed..

Anyone receive any news from SJI? I heard VS interview is very challenging and stressful, facing a panel of 8 interviewers. I remembered when I have my job interview, facing 3 interviewers already made me nervous. [/quote]

I heard from my friend whose DS applied to VS.. He faced a panel of 4 and was asked to construct a model representing the education (in the view of DS). Also asked something to the effect on his views on diseases as nature's way of controlling the world population. Tough questions if I may say for a 12 year old or anyone for the matter!

Have not heard from SJI so far. But I am rather impressed by the way they conducted the selection test/interview. Very professional. They even provided the kids with drinks and bread and each of them even received a book at the end of it. And this is for just $30 compared to a much bigger amount some other schools charged.

Yes, I called them and they told me that they will call those who are shortlisted for interview. You may try to call them. My dd was not shortlisted.

Do we have waterpolo here in Singapore for primary school? Only know there is swimming competitiion at national age group.
