Yes it is ๐Ÿ˜„[/quote]I wonder how easy it is to get DSA under own affiliated school. I know for my younger boy, the number they take is under DSA for affiliates very low. Well, probably bc not independent school too so can only take a few students. SJI maybe different - can take in more since it is an independent school.

My son is from a neigbourhood school. The top 20 boys from the school (based on their P5 SA2 results) were invited to apply for SJI's DSA.

However, I am a little puzzled and hope someone can enlighten me on this.

According to SJI's website, DSA is only for students with special sporting abilities. The rest of the admission is via students' PSLE T-score. So, what is this DSA about?? :?

Is the DSA invitation for IP or 'o' level ? What is their vacancies for IP DSA ? What if the child get very good PSLE result later since they are top top academically? So isn't it better to wait for PSLE result if they are not so sure if they really want to go there? Aiyo, very difficult to decide ya ...

Not sure any difference from yours, but for those boys who received the invitation email are the top boys in school and the email encourages them to apply DSA thru academic route.

Perhaps, this is only for their "IP" that they are starting next year?

If your child is of high ability type, the conventional choice is thru psle score. Can hve your pick at your own time.

For those high average and below and must really go to your dream schools then no choice but thru this route.
