sorry..dsa sports for RGS.
What oppurtunities are there for these top students in RGS or any top schools to participateleeven:
Would like to share. For DSA sports, if your DD is not one of top three finalists at national level for individual sports, chance is slim, but for team sports, higher chance.
National level top 3 finalists trying for sports school ?.
In competitions with govt going to pick students from sports school here after.

If you read the RI thread, you will notice that the RI parents are worried why their DSs do not feel stressed (as if our DSs feel stressed then we are happy hor :siao: ).. My DS does not seem to have a lot of homework (maybe he does a lot of group work in school).. He is on the computer most of the time (FB & games).. And he spends a lot of time on his CCA (which he enjoys very much)..PiggyLalala:
Hi yukilei,
:congrats: Just to share with you, RI may not as stressful as what people tend to think, at least not so in year 1 and 2. Not too sure abt year 3 and 4 though. To me, distance is an important consideration too.
All the best to yr ds.
congrats.
In short, the RI boys play hard and study smart.. Does your DS like RI? Most importantly, he must like the school then he will look forward to going to school and enjoy himself there.. :boogie:
Thks firefly38. Another comforting info.
glad to hear that ur DS enjoys himself so much in sch. My DS does like RI but so is HCI. :slapshead:
He has some more queries on RI curriculum, but I'll go to RI thread to seek for help. Once again, thks.

Hi, I’m surprised no one is talking about NJC. Is that NJC is now not ranked as one of the top choices? Checked historical records, its COP was not that low though. DD applied for NJC. Anyone cares to share your opinions and / or experience? Tks in advanced.

My DS applied Njc also. Interview and day activities will be on 25/08. The day I went down to the school to submit the document and checked with the admin staff, she told me around 200 were selected for the 2nd round. Any idea how many pupils will be enrolled through dsa? We didn't attend the open house, did the school mentioned during open house? What we like Njc is their small class size, boarding programme and it's just next to my dd primary school. By the way, we received the gat result from Njc last Friday. -

Seems NJC runs on low profile, we didn’t know there was an Open House. A big crowd going for HAST, only 200 short listed, that is not many. We received the test result too. Any more info on Day Activities and Interview? NJC has no affiliated school, so we getting more chances. True / false? -
