They will lose out if no WL due to no transfer policy for accepted CO so those who want to go to NYGH etc will decline its COs and leave it with some empty seats. That being the case, if these empty seats have to be thrown into S1 together with the balance 225 non DSA seats, it will create more available slots for S1 and affect its S1 COP ie southwards. It will only make sense to offer WLs so that these WLs will be upgraded to COs and fill up the slots upon option exercise so that its S1 COP will not be affected southwards.
All the best! Herbie, I have been thinking the \"logic questions\" of WL this year, if you can recall.
But at this moment, I think RGS will not give out WL as usual. -

SCGS is a very good school. The programmes it has in place for its top classes are excellent. I have not heard much about lesbians in the school and anyway, if you ground your daughter right, why worry?
Hi Shalom,Shalom:
Thru email. DD applied thru academic.
But is SCGS a good school? Some people told me that is just normal school and a lesbian school. I very worried.
I am pretty sure all girls schools have lesbian. As parents, we need to teach DD values and as for me I educate DD via Christian faith that this is not acceptable by church. It depends on who your DD mixes with. Hence, we need to know who are their friends and what do they talk about. I have seen friends' DD from that school who are materialistic and \"atas\". I don't hear much of the lesbian part but more of the materialistic part.
Call me crazy or whatever, I like their uniform :rotflmao: When DD & I started this DSA journey, distance was not our criteria but the school's infrastructure and uniform are part of the criteria.
:congrats:
And I agree with Lilo about the school infrastructure and uniform.
I like the uniform too. Practical and pretty.

SCGS is a holistic school. Its girls are eloquent and poised. They generally speak good English and are sociable.
Lesbians... Well,so long as your kid doesn't turn out as one will do  ...we can't fend our teenage girls against lesbians, vulgarity etc etc... We just gotta teach them at home the correct values, read more newspaper articles on practical news to them, broach sensitive topics in subtle way and lastly....
....
