So no one actually has a Hitachi fridge huh?

My one is Hitachi. Bought 3 years ago. 4 doors with water dispenser.

So you are one happy owner I assume?[/quote]Yes. I am a happy owner.

I’ve used Fisher and Paykel (made in NZ) for 7 years. It works well except on the 7th year, the rubber around it began to mould and started to drop.

So, decided to get a new Panasonic instead of fixing it. Panasonic fridge is good so far and energy savings too.

My Electrolux fridge rubber piece came off and the replacement piece didn't look anything like the original. Fortunately it lasted me quite long after changing it.

I’ve had problems with Samsung everything! From washing machine to fridge, but mind you, my hubby swears by Samsung! He has a Samsung mobile. He’s been using Samsung mobile phones for years and they’ve outlasted all my mobiles

I believe Samsung is well-known for their handphones and LCD TV only. That is why we have to painstakingly ask for reviews by electronic items and not just by brands alone. I cannot think of one brand that is good in every electronic item, is there? :? Not even Sony...

With this review I also got to understand why there was a roadshow for Samsung fridges only when the store carried all other brands. 😉

Hubby used to buy Samsung...but battery level drops very fast.
He also swears by Samsung LCD.

Ok roger...planning to do that. Thanks again friend. I think the multi door should also help as my gal loves to open the fridge for her cheese and probably open too many times and cause the thing to break down easily, but it is 10 years old already....also not that easily already, served its useful life. 😉
