Preparing kids for P5 in 2011

Hi PiggyLalala, Flowermonaster,
I wish I can go easy, let go, relax...whatever...even have to make sure his pencil case have pens which WORK. This kind of anxiety is very stressful :faint: :frustrated: -
The next phase of anxiety begins for me... the results are starting to trickle in... :nailbite: :nailbite: :nailbite:

Thanks for listening :snuggles:
Hi janet..janet_lee88:
Mouth dry and tired from all the reminding. This exam comes 4 months after he started lessons at TAS...hope he can do better than SA1.
I can understand your anxiety esp over Synthesis. I also felt the same way last year when my ds1 sat for PSLE. Furthermore I could not find any good synthesis guide in popular last year.
Jia you and all the best to yr ds in his coming SA2.
I can definitely expect myself to go haywire b4 PSLE next year. it was plain stressful last weekend...hope I can go easy this weekend...but unlikely. Hubby mentioned going to Philips sale and I had to remind him Monday is Chinese paper and that is no walk in the park. Younger one also has a Math test...even though P1, but still should set expectations right...if there is a test/exam, revision is required. :slapshead: -

Yes, papers will back next week 3/11 for checking :faint: I've not even taken a breather

Janet must win some prize from KSP. Relac lah, it will make the learning journey more pleasant. (but I know what you're going to say... :siam: )
For the sake of your children, DH and fellow KSPs, YOU MUST TRY....

HI HappyBlueBear/BeContended,
Ok, don't talk about SA2. What about retail therapy at Popular ? That's one place I can easily chalk up $60-$80 and hubby doesn't question me. If I had done that at shopping centres, he would ask what I bought  -

Oh I love to shop at Popular too! Esp. Popular Bookfest in Suntec every start of the year-end school holidays. I'll always buy lots of stationery (different kinds of files/bookends/heavy duty stapler/ writing materials/staples/correction tapes/refillers/etc etc.) to help me keep my kids' and my stuff organised. I have bought enough assessment books to last till my kids sit for PSLE and will not want to add more to my reference collection, unless they are really much better than what I already have. These things should empower us, not to give us more stress.HI HappyBlueBear/BeContended,
