      krazy:
ops! Your girl must have been so hurt.

Kids with special needs tend not to be socially aware and as a result, offend many people. How is he now?
Yup, my gal tot he was trying to be rude initially.
But after learning that he is from northlight, and likely may have special needs, she has become more tolerant.

I think he should be in Sec2.

krazy, Pathlight or Northlight? Northlight for those who fail PSLE, Pathlight for special needs.

I know a tutor who teaches students from northlight. my child also has special needs and is doing relatively well under him. this tutor is also a registered educational therapist and one thing good about him is his passion. he really shows he cares and motivates the child. my child used to fail his english maths and science badly but at least now he is hovering about the 50% range. for me thats good enough as compared to his previous grades. If anyone interested I can pass you his contact. but no guarantee that he is free. I heard he is very busy

Channel News Asia had done a documentary show "Don’t Call Us Beaten" (5 episodes) on the 2 schools, Northlight and Pathway Assumption. It gave an indepth understanding about these schools. I am very touched by the passion of the teachers and principals who gone ways to help these students. They may not fair well in their PSLE but at least there is hope for them and prepare them for future. You can try to catch these episodes from the Toggle.
