Hi,

In primary science, students learnt that excess food is stored in different parts of plant. They are root, stem, flower and fruit.

The food in water chestnut is stored in the stem.

Another \"proof\" that the tiny food carrying phloem tubes are bi-directional.

gosh, after reading all the above, I truly "freak out". My girl is in P2 and now, I really worry for her Science next year.
